Priorities for the Auditor’s Office#
Trustworthy elections#
Continuing education, security compliance, accurate voter rolls, transparent ballot processing, and clear public reporting so that every Grays Harbor voter can have confidence that the process works.
Open, accessible records#
Timely recording and easy public access to county documents, with every procedure reviewed for efficiency.
Accountable county finances#
Timely annual budget reporting, integrity in accounts payable and receivable, and clear financial reporting to the public.
Responsive, modern service#
Meaningful customer service and straightforward online services for licensing, records, and elections.
My top priority is an Auditor's office that runs smoothly today and grows stronger every year. That starts with making sure both elections and licensing have the dedicated staff they need, so service stays consistent and every policy and procedure is carried out without interruption.
Building on that foundation, I will invest in our people through an ongoing continuing-education and cross-training program. When staff keep learning and can support one another across departments, the whole county benefits — services become faster, more reliable, and more resilient when they matter most.
Additionally, I will work closely with local and state agencies to build partnerships that genuinely strengthen our local communities, because Grays Harbor succeeds when we work together as friends and neighbors looking out for one another's local businesses and communities.

Meet Brielle#
Brielle Joyce is a local grassroots candidate running for Grays Harbor County Auditor on the Democratic ticket in the 2026 statewide election.
As an independent woman who has weathered life’s ups and downs, she has learned the value of rolling up her sleeves and working hard.
Brielle moved to Grays Harbor in search of her first home. By happy circumstance she found a community that gave her opportunities to give back. Today, Brielle serves as a lead fundraising volunteer for a local non-profit Family Promise homeless shelter while working full time in a bank. In addition, she is deeply dedicated to alleviating food scarcity and addressing the other critical challenges facing families in Grays Harbor County.
The County Auditor position will draw on Brielle’s years of management experience in community organizations and the financial industry. Brielle knows the importance of financial integrity, keeping commitments, regulatory compliance, and adherence to established standards and rules of law. Brielle leads with the same level of integrity and compassion she lives by — habits she has practiced and perfected throughout her life and career.
In this 250th year of the birth of the United States of America, Brielle strongly believes that a government of the people is one that works for the people. Can one person make a difference? Absolutely, but it takes a community to make real change. Brielle believes that through working together with the people and neighborhoods that she serves, we can genuinely improve the quality of life for all residents of Grays Harbor County!
What the County Auditor does#
The Grays Harbor County Auditor is an elected official responsible for several core functions of county government, including:
- Elections — administering fair, accurate, and secure elections and maintaining voter registration.
- Recording — recording and preserving official documents, including real estate records such as deeds and liens.
- Licensing — vehicle and vessel licensing and registration.
- Financial services — accounts payable and county financial reporting.
